DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING
INTRODUCTION TO AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING:-
Automobile Engineering course was started in the year of 1996. It is a three year diploma course, the branch which deals with designing, developing ,manufacturing, testing and repairing and servicing of automobiles such as car, trucks, motorcycles, scooters etc .Automobile Engineering uses the features of different elements of engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and safety engineering
IMPORTANCE OF AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING:
1. To develop and training students to design, manufacturing, maintenance and repairing of two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler.
2. To develop the ability among the students to synthesis data and technical concept for application of automobile system design and manufacturing.
3. To develop competencies in performance analysis of vehicles.
4. To develop the student conversant with automobile safety, electrical system and vehicle.
Students who have complete their Diploma in automobile engineering have excellent opportunity in the field of Automobile industry, Aeronautical field and all repair and maintenance of vehicle manufacturing industries The future and scope of Automobile engineers in India and abroad are very essential.
